13-14 MAY 2023: NIZZA MONFERRATO TURNS BARBERA RED
During Nizza è Barbera, the town of Nizza Monferrato becomes a great wine capital, where visitors can taste NIZZA D.O.C.G. and all the other Barbera D.O.C.G. and D.O.C. wines from Piedmont, face to face with the people who make them!

BARBERA FORUM
Meet over 70 producers of the finest Barbera d’Asti at the Foro Boario in Nizza Monferrato: over 400 labels presented for tasting, included in the price of admission, served and explained directly by the winemakers. The Barbera Forum is the heart of Nizza è Barbera!

GUIDED TASTINGS
Take part in the special Nizza is Barbera tastings, at Palazzo Crova – home of the Regional Enoteca of Nizza Monferrato – and at the Ex Chiesetta Trinità: these are real moments of in-depth discussion with experts in the field. At Palazzo Crova they take place inside the Museum of Taste. Places are limited, hurry to book your Enocultura moment!

MULTISENSORY EXPERIENCES AND MASTERCLASS WITH BARBERA D’ASTI, NIZZA DOCG AND GOURMET PRODUCTS
The 2023 program of tastings includes: an in-depth look at Nizza docg Riserva; a tasting with gastronomic pairing between Barbera d’Asti and Nizza docg and Gorgonzola dop; and two innovative tastings, particularly focused on the olfactory characteristics of Barbera d’Asti, young Nizza docg and aged Nizza docg, with sensory games and storytelling. Find out the details on the program page!

THERE’S A PARTY IN TOWN
Spend a pleasant evening in Nizza Monferrato old town! The shops will be open and visitors can enjoy a range of local dishes and specialities as they stroll around town or sit comfortably in specially organised areas. Then there are the Wine Points – where over 100 different labels of Barbera d’Asti will be available for tasting, served by Sommeliers from the AIS and the streets will be filled with music and a party atmosphere. There’ll also be a chance to taste specialities prepared specially to celebrate our favourite red: have you ever tried Barbera ice-cream?
On Sunday the party continues, with the market and activities for children. Download the detailed programme of Nizza è Barbera 2023!

THE HOME OF BARBERA
At Palazzo Crova, the historical building surrounded by splendid gardens that is home of the Enoteca Regionale di Nizza, you can visit the Wine Shop and purchase the wines of our associate producers – as well as the Museo del Gusto, both of which will be open on the Saturday evening during Nizza è Barbera. You can also enjoy a delicious menu created to pair perfectly with Barbera d’Asti: lunch and dinner will both be served at the table, with the Barbera wines of our Producers available at the tasting tables, in the peaceful setting of the Ristorante Vineria la Signora in Rosso (lunch in the gardens and dinner in the indoor dining room).
